Creative direction and visual identity for Point Source Youth’s national annual conference.
The Point Source Youth National Symposium on Solutions to End Youth Homelessness returned as an in-person event in 2022. As Design Director, I led the conference's creative vision from concept through execution, designing a cohesive visual system that carried across promotional campaigns, digital and print collateral, environmental graphics, stage design, signage, swag, and attendee materials. On-site, I directed creative production, overseeing photography, installation, vendor coordination, and live show production from the control room to ensure a seamless attendee experience.
Featured Illustrations
I illustrated a set of images to use as feature visuals in event promo and on-site signage and swag. The task at hand was to build excitement in the community about coming back together after two years of online events during the acute pandemic. However, for ethical, consent, and logistic reasons, PSY did not want to feature photos of the young people involved in the work. The conference is annually held at NYU by Washington Square Park, so an illustration of that park was aimed to build excitement for folks traveling from across the country for the event. The other two main illustrations were created based on photos from previous events to remind folks of the feeling of being together.
